Published: Friday, 07 November 2014
Seven different publications, reports and presentations have been recently contributed by different members of the EnHANTs project:
- IEEE Transaction on Communications: A paper authored by Zhe Wang, Vaneet Aggarwal (Purdue University) and Xiaodong Wang titled “Power allocation for energy harvesting transmitter with causal information” was published on IEEE Transaction on Communications in Nov. 2014.
- ArXiv Report: A technical report titled “Project-based Learning within a Large-Scale Interdisciplinary Research Effort” is on ArXiv. This report by Robert Margolies, Maria Gorlatova, John Sarik, Peter Kinget, Ioannis Kymissis and Gil Zussman describes the EnHANTs project experience in engaging over 80 students over 180 interdisciplinary research projects, and summarizes lessons learned.
- ArXiv Reports: Two technical reports titled “Multiuser Joint Energy-Bandwidth Allocation with Energy Harvesting - Part I: Optimum Algorithm & Multiple Point-to-Point Channels” and “Multiuser Joint Energy-Bandwidth Allocation with Energy Harvesting - Part II: Multiple Broadcast Channels & Proportional Fairness” are on ArXiv. These two reports by Zhe Wang, Vaneet Aggarwal (Purdue University) and Xiaodong Wang study and develop optimal energy-bandwidth allocation algorithms in fading channels and multiple broadcast channels for multiple energy harvesting transmitters.
- SCONES: Jelena Marasevic presented a poster titled “Algorithms for Max-min Fair Rate Assignment and Routing in Energy Harvesting Networks” at the first Symposium on the COntrol of NEtwork Systems (SCONES) held in Boston, in Oct. 2014.
- Columbia University: Guy Grebla presented a poster titled “Movers and shakers: Kinetic energy harvesting for the Internet of things” at the 2014 Columbia University Postdoc Research and Career Symposium. This poster won the Top 10 Poster Award.
- IEEE NJACS: Jelena Marasevic’s poster titled “Algorithms for Max-min Fair Rate Assignment and Routing in Energy Harvesting Networks” won the Second Place Poster Award at the 2nd IEEE North Jersey Advanced Communications Symposium (NJACS) held in Sept, 2014.
